How do you work to find that optimal life? I know we feel at times its a hamster on a wheel, you are going full tilt to soccer practice, making dinner, working 60 hours a week, helping with homework, fixing snacks, doing dishes, and yes this list can go on and on and on. Here is the thing, in that whole list, most of the time we are all doing these things for the other members of our families, making sure that all the pieces are together all the time for our husbands/wives and our kids. At some point we find out there has not been a lot you have done for YOU!
So I am in all actuality speaking about myself...I fall directly into this rut. I find that I am kinda going from 6 am to 10:00 pm and falling asleep before I even recognize I am in bed. It is a long journey but I have started to take those steps for myself, not every day is a perfect one, and I will be the first to tell you I have let go of that whole thing a very long time ago! Its not gonna be perfect and I am ok with that. So, where am I going with all of this? Well, Michael and I have the honor of working with Charmaine Swan, owner of Spot Fitness to bring you all an incredible full day retreat! I am going to start giving you the tools and steps toward healthier diet and how to fuel your body with nutrient dense foods, taking home some tips and tricks to transform how you nourish your body, and finally Michael will be helping you take a look at yourself a bit more from the inside out. Offering some life coaching tools and some great meditation to quiet the mind and help you find out a bit more about what is so powerful and incredible about being YOU!
